By the way, the wedding was good. They received lots of well wishes. :) I just thought that it was a little too much. Personally, if i'm going to get married, i will hope to have just a small family cum close friends cum close relatives kind of wedding celebration. I don't have that much energy to entertain so many people. Plus i can't take too much attention, i'll become the runaway bride.
In indo, its very common to send huge garlands of flowers like these during whatever events. I think its a nice gesture, but its also very wasteful. The flowers wilt after a few days, then you have to throw them away or they'll be burnt. Why not just send a nice card that people can actually keep, and let the flowers live longer in the wild?
